A stuck garage door on Cape Cod

Wind off the Sound and a door that will not close is a reason to stop the motor and ask about the day, including the bridges. Eastham and Bourne are not the same drive, and a door stuck open in either place leaves the house unsecured. Stop the opener and keep people and pets out of the garage.

We will try to secure it when a visit can be made. That is not a promise we will arrive within the hour, and it is not an overnight shift. Salt sits on the steel all year, so a repair here includes a look at the brackets and the seal, not only the part that failed.
