Lowell
Lowell is the mill city at the confluence of the Merrimack and Concord rivers, dense in brick, with neighborhoods beyond the canals. Lowell has triple-deckers and mill housing near the canals. Outer neighborhoods have more driveways and conventional doors. Many buildings have no garage at all. A tight alley door is not a suburban two-car estimate.
Lowell sees river-valley cold, wind, snow, and ice. Keep children and cars out of the opening until the spring is replaced. A door on one spring, or on none, can drop. Our visit is to make it safe: new spring, cables checked, door balanced, opener reconnected only at the end.
The number to use is (781) 602-0737. If a safety line is missing through an older extension coil, we will point that out. The repair is still done at the house, and the figure lists what we will change. We need to see the door before we name any size.
Do not wind a coil while you wait.
