Lowell
Lowell is the mill city at the confluence of the Merrimack and Concord rivers, dense in brick, with neighborhoods beyond the canals. Lowell has triple-deckers and mill housing near the canals. Outer neighborhoods have more driveways and conventional doors. Many buildings have no garage at all. A tight alley door is not a suburban two-car estimate.
Lowell sees river-valley cold, wind, snow, and ice. After the door is back in the rails we run it by hand. It should travel without popping, scraping, or walking to one side. If it does not, we are not done. Call (781) 602-0737 and leave the door where it sits until that visit.
If a safety line is missing through an older extension coil, we will point that out. The repair is still done at the house, and the figure lists what we will change. We need to see the door before we name any size. Do not wind a coil while you wait.

Do not force the door back into the rails. Call (781) 602-0737 — we re-seat it and repair the hardware that let it jump.
