Service
When the door has jumped the rails and should not be run until it is back in line.
An off-track door is one that has left the rails on one side or both. It may sit at an angle, rub, or refuse to move without grinding. Off-track repair puts that door back where it belongs. Cable and track repair is the neighboring service and also names off-track doors and bent rails. Off-track repair stays on the stuck, out-of-line door so the two write-ups are not the same article.
Running the opener to force the door back into the rail can bend the rail further or tear a roller. Stop using it and call. The technician looks at whether a roller left the track, whether a cable went slack, and whether the rail itself is bent. Bent-rail repair lives in the cable and track scope.
There is no published fee just for putting a door back on track, and no promise that the visit is only a reset. Panel replacement and parts are the follow-on services when hardware is damaged.
Same-day service is offered. Call for hours. An off-track door at night is still a phone call. The number is (781) 602-0737. Serving all of Massachusetts. There is no storefront to drive the door to.
We do not recommend that. Call and leave the door alone until a technician sees it.
Off-track repair is the door that has left the rails. Cable and track repair is the broader hardware service and may be part of the same visit if a cable or rail is damaged.
