Lynn
Lynn is the dense coastal city between Swampscott, Saugus, and Revere, with a shoreline and a large inland grid. Lynn has triple-deckers, two-families, and older single houses. Garages are often single bays or behind the house. The shoreline streets take salt. The inland grid is tighter than a suburb.
A stuck door on a narrow lot is a reason to call rather than force it. Lynn sees ocean salt on the shore, street salt and snow inland. Lynn sees wind off the water. Corrosion and freeze-thaw both show up. Wind-driven rain shows up every bad seal and every rusted bottom edge.
We will tell you if a new seal and new steel pieces on the old door will hold, or if the sections are finished. The price for a new door is written before anything is ordered. Reach us at (781) 602-0737. Keep people out from under a door that hangs crooked near the water.
We secure it, replace what let go, and run a full open and close before we leave. Pitted rollers come off in that same stop when they grind. The figure is written first, even on an urgent stop.
