Quincy
Quincy is the coastal city in Norfolk County, from the granite quarries and Wollaston to the neighborhoods above the bay. Triple-deckers, two-families, and mid-century houses share the city with newer buildings near the T. Many garages are single bays under an older house or behind it on a narrow lot.
Salt-stained rollers and a spring that snapped are both Quincy calls. We come to your home. Salt air off Quincy Bay and Wollaston reaches hardware that inland towns never see. Winter still freezes the seal. Both corrosion and ice show up on the same door. An ocean-side install still starts with a tape measure, not a catalog.
Width, height, headroom, and side room decide what will fit. We write the price at the house. The door is ordered only after you approve that price. A motor that hums on a door near salt air is often pushing against rough track. We unhook it and lift carefully before we blame the unit.
A heavy door gets the steel repaired. We do not condemn a motor from the driveway, and the figure names the part we will change. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
