Norfolk County
Quincy is the coastal city in Norfolk County, from the granite quarries and Wollaston to the neighborhoods above the bay. Triple-deckers, two-families, and mid-century houses share the city with newer buildings near the T. Many garages are single bays under an older house or behind it on a narrow lot.
Salt-stained rollers and a spring that snapped are both Quincy calls. We come to your home. Salt air off Quincy Bay and Wollaston reaches hardware that inland towns never see. Winter still freezes the seal. Both corrosion and ice show up on the same door. We identify the failed spring or cable at the opening and repair that part, rather than swapping pieces at random.
We do not grease a flat-spotted roller and call it repaired. The flat spot still thumps, oil or not. The emergency release is shown to you when we are done, so a power cut does not leave you locked out. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
