Worcester County
Athol is the mill town on the Millers River at the northern edge of Worcester County, toward Franklin County. Athol has a downtown of older commercial blocks and surrounding wood-frame houses. The hills around town are rural. Athol has a small-city house door. A visit this far west is a schedule question, not a promise that we will arrive within the hour from the named Norfolk towns.
Athol is colder and snowier than the towns nearer Boston. The river valley holds cold air. If the door drops when the motor is unhooked, the spring is the problem. We do not condemn the motor from the driveway. We do not hammer an off-track panel back into the rails.
The door is secured, then the failed hinge or roller is repaired. We do not order a new opener from a phone description. We have to see the door and the ceiling together. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
