Medford
Medford is the city on the Mystic between Somerville, Arlington, Malden, and Winchester. Medford has two-families, triple-deckers, and older single houses. Some streets have driveways and single garage doors. A crooked door should stay unused until someone sees it. Medford sees close-in winter and river damp. A bang, then a door that will not stay up, is a broken spring.
Do not prop it and do not wind it. We replace the spring and balance the door on the same visit when we can get there. Phone (781) 602-0737 and let us know if anyone is stuck outside or the door is standing open. Bring up a bang, a grind, or a door that stopped halfway, and leave the door unused until we are there.
We can tell those faults apart in the garage. Work begins after you have heard the price. The estimate is free. Stay off a ladder under a spring that has already let go. We bring the right tools for that shaft.
