Melrose is the residential city between Malden, Saugus, Stoneham, and Wakefield. Melrose has older single houses and two-families on established streets. Garages are often one car beside the house. A single-car door that has become heavy is a common call. No Melrose counter is listed. Melrose sees wet snow and freeze-thaw.
A spring that was sized for a lighter door is not left in place once we have weighed this one by hand. The inside slide of the track is checked for burrs. A burr will shred a new roller in a week. We match a replacement opener to the door weight we just balanced, not to a default from the box.
The old part leaves with us when it comes off. We do not leave a broken spring or a frayed cable in the corner. The new part is on, the door is tested, and the bay is yours again. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
