Essex County
Topsfield is a small inland town between Ipswich, Boxford, and Middleton, with a common and no harbor. Topsfield has a colonial two-car door and an older single bay both appear. Topsfield sees inland North Shore cold under trees. Topsfield sees freeze-thaw at the seal, not beach salt. We leave the motor disconnected until the door lifts easily.
Raising the force will not fix a spring that has already broken. The bottom fixture and the low rollers are checked together, because a bent fixture throws the door off the rail. If the door will not finish closing, we sort out sensors, a bind, or a weak spring on site.
Bottom fixtures that have cracked are replaced with the cable end, not patched. The cable pulls on that casting, and a crack there will let go again. Both sides are checked while we are there. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
