Norfolk County
East Walpole and South Walpole are villages inside Walpole, not separate municipalities. The center, East Walpole, and South Walpole each have older houses, while later streets filled with colonials and capes. Walpole has garages range from single village bays to two-car attached doors. Springs, openers, and cables are the usual work.
The Neponset and inland cold keep the town damp in winter. Ice at the seal is common. This is not a salt-air coast. An extension spring that snaps is replaced at the house, with a safety line through the new one if that line was missing. Snow packed into the bottom seal is cleared, and a torn seal is replaced so the next storm does not jam the door.
The wall console and the remote should both run a balanced door. If only one works, that one is the repair. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
