Norfolk County
Stoughton sits between Canton, Avon, Randolph, Brockton, and Easton. Older streets near the Stoughton center have smaller garages. Ranches and capes farther out usually have wider doors. A loud bang overhead is usually a spring. An opener that hums is a different visit. Winter is snow, ice, and road salt.
A door at the bottom of a short hill can get rain and melting snow against the seal, which makes the door heavier. We disconnect the opener, move the door, and show you the failed spring or cable before anything comes off. Flag brackets that have loosened at the bottom of the vertical track are reset before the door is cycled.
A humming motor is judged only after the door has traveled freely by hand. If the door is heavy, the spring is the repair. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
