Suffolk County
Winthrop is a peninsula town in Boston Harbor, attached to Revere and facing the airport and the islands. Houses are close together on a peninsula. Garages are often small, older, and near the water. A wide new subdivision door is the exception. A harbor visit is still a schedule question, not a ferry.
Salt air is constant, not seasonal. Wind off the harbor drives rain at the seal. Hardware that would last inland can pit here. We disconnect the opener, move the door, and show you the failed spring or cable before anything comes off. A bottom seal hardened into a ridge is cut off and a new seal is fit to the measured width.
A door that opens a foot and stops may be the up force or a roller bind. We separate those before we buy parts. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
Springs, openers, cables, rollers, tracks, seals, and full door replacement. Call (781) 602-0737 for a free on-site estimate.
