Suffolk County
Boston is one municipality. Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, West Roxbury, Hyde Park, Roxbury, Mattapan, Charlestown, East Boston, South Boston, Allston, and Brighton are neighborhoods inside it, not separate towns. The housing stock changes by neighborhood: triple-deckers in Dorchester and East Boston, brick blocks in the South End and Beacon Hill with almost no private garage, carriage alleys in the Back Bay, and more conventional house garages in West Roxbury and Hyde Park.
The harbor edge takes salt air and wind. Inland neighborhoods take freeze-thaw and street snow piled against the door. A waterfront alley and a West Roxbury colonial are not the same winter. The drums are checked while the springs are off, because a damaged drum will chew a new cable.
The door should travel without a rhythmic thump. That thump is the flat spot we came to remove. We match a replacement opener to the door weight we just balanced, not to a default from the box. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
Springs, openers, cables, rollers, tracks, seals, and full door replacement. Call (781) 602-0737 for a free on-site estimate.
