A torn seal lets in water and light. It is not, by itself, a broken spring.
In short. A torn seal lets in water and light. It is not, by itself, a broken spring.
The rubber along the floor and the strips at the sides wear out. Daylight under the door, a damp line on the floor after rain, or a whistle on a windy day are the usual signs.
Seal work is a different visit from spring work. The estimate should name what is included before anyone starts.
We do not sell a kit of seal profiles, and we will not write an adhesive recipe. The technician matches the seal to the door that is there.
Water can be a seal, a slope, or both. The visit is about the door, not the yard drainage.
A photo helps the conversation. The fit is decided on site.
