Berkshire County
Hinsdale is a small town east of Dalton, between Peru and Washington, higher and quieter than Pittsfield. A single bay on an older house is as likely as a two-car face. Elevation means a longer snow cover than Dalton next door. A shaded door stays frozen after the lower towns have thawed.
A door that slams shut from a standing start needs the lifting power corrected, not a stronger motor setting. Struts on a wide door are looked at when the panel is bowing. A roller repair will not flatten a tired section. We program the travel from stops we can see, with the spring already doing its share of the lift.
Nothing is ordered from a photograph or from a guess over the phone. The opening has to be in front of us. We repair the piece that failed and test the door. You should be there to approve it. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
