Plymouth County
Abington is a compact inland town where Plymouth County meets Holbrook, Weymouth, Rockland, and Whitman. Capes and ranches on small lots are the usual houses. Garages are close to the street. Springs and openers are the common work. Abington sees wet snow and freeze-thaw, with a hint of coastal weather from the nearby shore towns but no beach of its own.
When a torsion spring lets go, we put a matched spring on and balance the door. The motor stays off until the door is easy by hand. Rollers with flat spots thump once per panel. We replace the set and reset any hinge that shifted. A humming motor is judged only after the door has traveled freely by hand.
If the door is heavy, the spring is the repair. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
