Franklin County
Ashfield is a hill town between Conway, Goshen, Plainfield, and Hawley, with a common and a rural radius. The common is the tight part of town, and the rest is houses spread on hill roads rather than a row of identical garage fronts. Wind on the high roads and a freeze that outlasts the valleys below are the seasonal pair.
Balance is checked at mid-travel with the opener disconnected. A door that creeps is not a finished job. Steel rollers that grind in a dry hinge are replaced as a set. Nylon is quieter, and a bent rail is still repaired. If the door will not finish closing, we sort out sensors, a bind, or a weak spring on site.
