Hampden County
Chicopee is the city at the Chicopee River's meeting with the Connecticut, between Springfield and Holyoke. Chicopee has mill neighborhoods and dense streets, plus outer residential areas. Many older buildings have no garage. Existing doors are often single bays. Chicopee sees river-valley cold and wind. Steeper streets hold runoff.
When a torsion spring lets go, we put a matched spring on and balance the door. The motor stays off until the door is easy by hand. A worn hinge pin and a worn roller are changed together when both are sloppy in the same joint. A door that opens a foot and stops may be the up force or a roller bind.
We separate those before we buy parts. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
