Berkshire County
Hancock is the rural town on the New York line west of Pittsfield and Lanesborough, under the Taconic ridge. Houses are scattered, and a door often faces a long drive rather than a sidewalk. Steep or unplowed access belongs in the first call. Hancock sees ridge snow and wind.
The valley in Pittsfield can be milder than a lot up against the New York line. We identify the failed spring or cable at the opening and repair that part, rather than swapping pieces at random. We count the hinges and the rollers before we order the set, so a tall door does not come up one roller short.
A keypad code you no longer want is cleared. Old codes are not left working on an exposed jamb. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
