Hampden County
Hampden is the small town east of East Longmeadow, between Wilbraham and Monson, not the county of the same name. Hampden sees inland freeze and ordinary snow, shaded where the roads are wooded toward Monson. Frayed wire at the drum is replaced because a cable that lets go can drop the whole door.
A header seal that has dropped into the opening is reattached or replaced so it does not catch the top panel. We set the opener only after the door stays put by hand. Programming a heavy door just hides the spring. The emergency cord is shown at the end of opener work so a power cut does not trap the car.
