Barnstable County
Orleans is the commercial hub of the outer Cape, between Brewster, Eastham, and Chatham, where the Cape narrows. Orleans has a busier center and residential streets toward the bay and the ocean side. Garages are residential, mixed in age, on lots that are tighter than a mainland subdivision.
A village lot with little room around a stuck door is the safety note. Salt-air hardware should be described if you can see pitting. Orleans sees exposed to both bay and ocean weather systems. We disconnect the opener, move the door, and show you the failed spring or cable before anything comes off.
Old seal scraps are not left hanging under a new seal. The joint at the floor has to be one clean piece. The trolley comes off before we judge the weight. That is how a spring problem is told apart from a motor problem. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
