Upton is a small town between Milford, Grafton, Hopkinton, and Northbridge. An older center bay and a newer side-street door should be told apart. Upton sees inland freeze-thaw and road salt on the routes toward Milford. Frayed wire at the drum is replaced because a cable that lets go can drop the whole door.
Track brackets lag-bolted into dry wood are moved to solid framing when the old holes no longer hold. A chain that has slack is tightened only after the door is balanced. Tightening it on a heavy door burns the motor. Nylon wheels quiet a dry hinge. They do not straighten a bent rail, so a bent rail is repaired too.
