Berkshire County
New Marlborough is a town of several small villages between Monterey, Sandisfield, and Sheffield. A door in one hamlet is not a door in the next, and the schedule needs the right one. South county cold varies by village. A hollow stays damp and icy; a ridge lot takes more wind and drifting snow.
After the spring is changed, the door should stay where you leave it. That check happens before the opener is trusted. A door that has left the rails is lifted back in. The loose hinge that allowed it is repaired, not hammered. We program the travel from stops we can see, with the spring already doing its share of the lift.
