Hampden County
Blandford is a small hill town on the edge of the Berkshires, between Russell, Otis, and Granville. Same-day service is a question on this edge. Blandford sees hill snow that outlasts Westfield. Blandford sees wind on the ridge and ice in the shaded cuts. When one spring on a two-spring door has broken, the surviving spring is not asked to carry the door alone.
A stile that has split around the hinge screws needs the hinge moved onto sound metal. Screws in the split will not hold. A new opener is quoted only when the motor, the board, or the gear is actually finished. Balance still comes first. The first minute is a look at the shaft, the cables, and the track.
Whichever of those failed is the repair. We do not leave until the door travels without a catch. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
