Berkshire County
Egremont includes North and South Egremont, small villages on the New York line south of Alford and west of Great Barrington. Houses are older and spread along the New York line, with barns more often than subdivision garages. A carriage bay and a later attached door should not be described as the same opening.
Egremont sees south Berkshire snow and wind across open fields. A door on a village street and a door on a field lot take different weather. The opener goes back to work only after a full open and close without scraping. That pass is part of the spring job.
A single noisy roller can be the clue, but the set is what we judge once the door is moving. Belt shreds and chain skips are opener repairs. A door that slams is still a spring, and we keep those straight. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
