Marblehead is a rocky harbor town beside Salem, with a dense old town and a neck that is more exposed. The old town has narrow streets and few modern garages. The Neck and later streets have more house doors, still close to salt air. A door with no room around it should not be forced back on track.
We have no Marblehead wharf. Marblehead sees harbor and ocean salt, wind, and winter storms. Corrosion is the local pattern. We set the door so it stays at half height by itself. If it sinks, the balance is not done. A stile that has split around the hinge screws needs the hinge moved onto sound metal.
Screws in the split will not hold. A photocell lens covered with dust or cobwebs is cleaned before anyone replaces the sensor board. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
Springs, openers, cables, rollers, tracks, seals, and full door replacement. Call (781) 602-0737 for a free on-site estimate.
