Hampden County
West Springfield faces downtown Springfield across the Connecticut River, a separate city with a residential side and a commercial strip. West Springfield has neighborhood streets of houses with garages, distinct from the downtown across the river. Many doors are ordinary residential bays. Do not confuse the city with Springfield when you call.
After the spring is changed, the door should stay where you leave it. That check happens before the opener is trusted. A section that rubs only in cold weather may have a seal that grew stiff. We replace that seal and retest. The opener arm should push the center of the door.
An arm that has bent is straightened or replaced. The opener comes off the door first, so the weight is obvious. A working part is left alone. The last step is a slow open and close with you nearby. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
