Berkshire County
Pittsfield is the Berkshire county seat, a small city in the Housatonic valley between Dalton, Lenox, and Lanesborough. Pittsfield has a downtown, older neighborhoods, and outer streets. Some houses have garages. Many closer-in buildings do not. Outer streets look more like ordinary residential doors. Pittsfield sees significant snow and cold compared with Norfolk or Bristol counties.
Do not prop a slack door with a board. We secure the opening and then replace what let go. Track brackets lag-bolted into dry wood are moved to solid framing when the old holes no longer hold. The wall console and the remote should both run a balanced door.
If only one works, that one is the repair. Call (781) 602-0737 to book directly.
