Guide
When the power is out, the motor does not travel. We do not teach a release procedure.
In short. When the power is out, the motor does not travel. We do not teach a release procedure.
An operator needs electricity. In an outage the door stays where it was unless someone who knows the hardware moves it. Do not expect a printed sequence for pulling a release cord, because a release on a door with a broken spring is how people get hurt.
A motor that hummed and smelled hot is a different story from a dark neighborhood.
We do not walk through pairing, programming, or force settings.
Do not look for a method here.
If the only problem was power, maybe. If something else failed, the visit still has to see it.
