Address, symptom, and access are the useful three. A guessed part number is not required.
In short. Address, symptom, and access are the useful three. A guessed part number is not required.
Start with the town, the street, and what the door is doing: open, shut, crooked, noisy, or heavy. Add whether the bay is attached to the house or a separate building. Add a gate code, a long driveway, or a dog in the bay if any of those are true.
Brand names help if you know them and do not matter if you do not. LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Wayne Dalton, and Amarr are names you might see on the hardware. Saying the name does not make us an authorized dealer for that brand.
Photos of the outside face, the motor, and the spring area can come along. They illustrate the call. They do not replace measuring, and they do not set a price. The written estimate after a look is the price.
The visit does not depend on the badge.
Stay off the ladder. Describe the door from the floor.
